ACT 17 OF 2024 — ARCHITECTS’ REGISTRATION (AMENDMENT) ACT
An Act to amend the Architects’ Registration Act.
Date of Commencement: On Notice.
Amends: ss 2, 3, 5 and 7.
Repeals: ss 24 and 48A.
Subs: Long title, ss 23, 48 and 49.
General Amendment: (1) The Architects’ Registration Act is amended by substituting for the word “draftsperson” wherever it appears in the Act, the word “draughtsperson”.
(2) Substituting for the word “Institute” wherever it appears in the Act, the words “voluntary organisations”.
(3) Substituting for the words “architect, architectural technologists and architectural draftsperson” wherever they appear together in that order in the Act, the words “architectural profession registered in terms of section 23 of this Act”.
