This Act may be cited as the Purchase of Agricultural Produce Act.
In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires—
“agricultural produce” means any of the following—
(a) crops;
(b) vegetables, fruits, flowers or plants;
(c) horses, cattle, sheep, goats, swine, mules, donkeys or poultry;

Any person who contravenes section 3 shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding P100 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months, or to both, and if such person is a licence holder the court may in addition to any other penalty order the cancellation of any licence in respect of which the offence was committed.
